I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!

What's new with me?  Quick update.  I am trying to get more into politics with the election coming up very soon.  I'm on the fence but scared my legs are going to slip and I will land on my balls!!  Ouch!

I'm looking forward to the first week of August.

And...I have to pee.

I'll write more soon...very soon!

A new post.  It has been a very long time.  Well, I just spent a long ass time in a very boring lecture about the new curriculum that I will have to teach to my 8th grade students.  I¡¯m very happy about the material but I¡¯m very unhappy with the way they presented it.

So, somehow, the original 4 of us fellows are back together at our middle school.  I am thrilled about this.  I even have my carpool partner back.  It¡¯s great.  I¡¯m giddy.

I¡¯m looking forward to starting next Monday.  I feel unprepared, but I¡¯ll soon feel comfortable I¡¯m sure.  The anticipation is worse than the work itself.

Shane, check your blog.  I commented on your August 20th post.  Greg and Liz, I can¡¯t wait to see you both tomorrow at school.  Now, I¡¯m going to class.  B-bye.

Tuesday morning at 8:05am.  Christina is working now.  We attempted to wake up at 5am to do some walking around the neighborhood for some early morning exercise.  Right.  She woke up at 6am and I didn’t get up until 7am.  So much for day one of the new exercise program.  We did get a chance to run yesterday at the beautiful track in town.  I did 2 miles and it has been about a month since I last did that so I’m feeling repercussions now, especially in my lower back.

Christina made a kick-ass dinner last night.  Chicken and eggplant in garlic sauce over brown rice.  Excellent!  She is such a good cook!

So, back to Fat Jack.  I removed the post a couple days ago, so if any of you have read it and enjoyed it, sorry.  I felt uncomfortable about leaving it there.

The day before my last day of teaching summer school (Wed), Fat Jack and my other cooperating teacher got together to buy me a parting gift.  They bought me my first chalk holder and a teacher’s planner.  It was very thoughtful.  I was so happy.

So, this is day 4 of 15 days off.  We report back to school again on 8-18-03.  Of course, I have many plans for the break.  For example, today I’m going to start cleaning my basement so I can finally get back to lifting weights.  My weights have been covered with boxes and shit from the wedding.  I need to get into better shape.  I’m tired of having this excess fat all over my body.  I want to get back to my lean 175 lbs that I once was about 3 years ago.

All right, that’s it for now.  I have to write something for a friend of mine and Greg, I will now respond to your email.  That’s all for now folks.  Be back soon.

A very good thing happened today that had to do with Fat Jack and I'm too damned tired to talk about it.  I promise to write more about it tomorrow or over the weekend.

Today, Fat Jack did not suck.

Still procrastinating so I haven't felt secure enough to write a long entry. I would feel guilty...so

FAT JACK STILL SUCKS!!
